We had an amazing experience doing our autumn mini with Sander. He was incredibly flexible with us from the start which was super important for our family. He has a good list of picturesque spots in the area. He's also good at giving directions which, again, was important for our family because we aren't usually very good at getting photographed lol. He was able to get right in there with our toddler who was shy at first but then started having fun a little ways in. The shots that we were shown on-site were very good and I can't wait to see how the full set turns out. He definitely knows what he's doing and how to make it fun. Thank you again Sander! We will definitely be booking you sometime later in the winter for spring photos!

I decided to get my family of 14 (so 5 different families) together for a fall photo shoot- during hunting season isn’t an easy task, but our photographer had a conflict the weekend before our shoot and Sander punctually answered our cry for help. We were just hoping to get a few poses but Sander went above and beyond my request of 3 poses of different family members and suggested each couple, individuals, generational pics of the women and then the men and more! He hit the Golden Hour on cue all with a can-do attitude and showed us the shots on his camera along the way. We got a coupon at the end for our next photo shoot and can’t wait to do it again and also get these photos blown up and our walls! Can’t thank him enough for everything he did for us in our moment of panic. I’m so happy to have a fun guy and wonderful photographer on speed dial!

Yes i recommend to everyone. He know sign language that wonderful more easy communication. his photography talent! He very creative. He brings joyful to my family during photography. My last son youngest always shy and not know strange people but he pretty along with sander. 🥰 He love him always smile to him during capture photos. We loved working with Sander. He was entertaining, helped coordinate parts of the day, worked well with us, our wedding party, and our family. His shots were creative and fun. He helped keep the energy up all day.

Working with Sander was a pleasure from beginning to end. He is quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We had so much fun during our shoot! We went on a walk through Minnehaha park and he had lots of creative ideas for pictures with me, my dog, and my guitar. He returned the finished photos to me quickly, and there were so many great shots that I will love forever! Working with Sander was very comfortable, like having a friend take your pictures. I would recommend him, especially if you have pets or kids in your group that would do better with a photographer with a kind and patient presence.

Sander did an amazing job with our wedding photos. He helped out so much on our big day with captured moments, that we can now forever look back on. He went above and beyond to get all the shots that we wanted, adding his artistic style to our photos. Getting our 7 year old to smile even when he was tired and done with the day. He was like a maid of honor to wife as she puts it.

Sander was amazing to work with. He has such an easy going personality and makes it fun! It was our first time taking family photos and we were nervous but he made it feel comfortable! He is great with kids. He was able to direct us and assist us with posing for our photos while making it fun and getting us to laugh during our session. Our family gave Sander Kenwood a HUGE task and he delivered beautiful results. Minnesota winter? Outside? Big group? Special needs? 4-legged friend? Sander was great! This was our first time getting photos taken and we were nervous but he made it really easy and it went so fast! He had a really nice set up for us and for the baby and helped pose us so it looked natural. We had a really fun time, thanks Sander 🙂

Sander helped me feel very comfortable to do a boudoir photo shoot with a man I just met. He was also very knowledgeable about poses that would look good and showed me exactly what to do with my body as most of the poses felt foreign to me. But I am happy he showed me because I love the end result I got to see in the photos. He also was very communicative throughout the whole process from beginning to end. He also worked with me to get more photos as I liked more than I had originally purchased which was so great!

We are happy with our photos. Sander was easy to work with, great with communication with the client and accommodating with our busy work-life schedules. Turn around for proofs was quick. He is great with kids too. We would recommend his services. My only tip as a client would be, get a bystander's permission to take their photo so you don't miss out on a great photo. Overall, highly satisfied.

My husband and I had the privilege to have Sander as our photographer for our newborn session. We were very much looking forward to a newborn session with a talented photographer who could help us capture sweet memories and moments with our daughter. We can be awkward with getting our picture taken so we prefer a photographer who can help us relax, laugh and capture candids of our personalities. Well Sander did all of that and so much more. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we started. He kept it light and fun had us smiling but he wasn't afraid to direct us to make sure to get that perfect shot.
